The paper recalls a forgotten text by the Polish writer Maria Horska-
-Szpyrkówna (1893‒1977) entitled „Ciała zmartwychwstanie” (The Resurrection of the Body), which, as she claims, is a “psychophysical” (“metapsychic”) study. Szpyrkówna defined “metapsychics” itself as “the cosmobiological issues that are most troubling to every intellectual”. The article is an attempt to reconstruct the genesis of the Szpyrkówna sketch and to present its key theses.
