This article is devoted to the intersemiotic relations between the visual arts and Anna Frajlich’s lyricism. The identification of the strategies of interpretation of this work and the definition of their role was made possible by the phenomenological concept of the literary and pictorial work (Ingarden) and the iconological interpretation (Panofsky). It turns out that creators of visual works rarely take into account the succession of phase-parts of poems, more often condensing them, aiming to convey a mood, sometimes abandoning direct references to the lyric and accentuating the layer of appearances, and sometimes inscribing poetic works into the structure of their works. The visual works as metasubstantiation of Frajlich’s poems confirm that an intersemiotic dialogue is constantly taking place within culture.
