Summary

The communication model, composed of seven elements, was used for a detailed analysis of the issue of the multi-aspect impact of a literary text.
The article is an attempt to answer the question to what extent "subjective" approaches to interpretation in the discourse on the meaning framework of a literary work are necessary (in the interest of acquiring knowledge) in the discussion on the reception theory of literature and its various types. The very range of possible interpretations that a literary text usually offers actually opens up only when readers comment on it from different points of view, argue about the space of meanings, present arguments for and against its expansion or narrowing: when communication is as symmetrical as possible between the work and its recipient, as well as between the author and the reader.
