The theme of the paper are issues included in two books written by Ziemowit Szczerek – Przyjdzie Mordor i nas zje, czyli tajna historia Słowian which is a collection of reportages stylized on gonzo literature and road novel – Siódemka. The text presents a major problems of Szczerek’s output – Polish and Ukrainian relations during the postcolonial period and definition and redefinition of Polishness. What is more, the paper contains a synopsis of Witold Gombrowicz’s poetic of prose and its influence on modern writer.
