The aim of the article is to analyses of monograph entitled Discourses of Borderline, Vectors of Literature. This monumental work written under the editorship of Jolanta Pasterska and Zenon Ożóg discuss the issue of widely understood borderline. The authors of several chapters present the results of research associated with history and culture of the Eastern Borderlands. Furthermore, in the reviewed monograph we can find among others articles concerning borderline scientific disciplines.
