Metonymy is a relationship in which something “is replaced by” something else.
Reference to this theory has its special meaning in the explanation of cognitive processes associated with memory and recollecting. For this purpose, we examined the metonymic memory model about other people based on the “Ostatnie rozdanie” written by Wieslaw Myśliwski.
