Summary

Olga Lipinska, by printing columns in 1992-2013, comments on current events whilst reminiscing about past ones that have played a crucial role in her life. The author does not succumb to commonplace ways of thinking, expresses her thoughts, while her good sense of observation allows her to identify specific attitudes of her compatriots. Despite raising controversial topics, she does not try to dazzle her readers, she does not impose her opinion, preferring to focus on argumentation that would convince readers to accept her position. Lipinska does not write according to a specific construction principle, though she usually writes dramatized columns, based on an imaginary conversation. She may be adopting this type of structure because she has been a film director for many years, whilst her topics are usually related to interpersonal relationships.
