The article deals with toponyms located or once located on the territory of the Assokolay village of the Teuchezhsky district of the Republic of Adygea. The material for the study was the manuscript “Assocolai toponyms” from the personal archive of the author of the article, containing 166 names. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that the materials of the manuscript are valuable sources of information, and the presented statistics of toponyms based on the classification of toponyms by A.V. Superanskaya will become the basis for building the training database “assocolai toponymy”.
