People are struggling with a lack of awarenees. Recognizing it is important on every level of human life. Also in the therapeutic process, which is an encounter with another human being. It is important that the patient understands the importance of the actions taken. It concerns both the patient himself (if his condition allows such a process) and his family and the therapist. For this reason, the inclusion of logotherapeutic activities in logopedic practice may be a significant element affecting the success of the actions taken. This article focuses on logotherapy in speech therapy practice. The following chapters contain a short theoretical introduction related to logotherapy, the use of logotherapy in speech therapy, as well as the ethical aspects of the speech therapist’s responsibility for the patient.
