The article highlights the polyphonic character of the magazine project Wieloczas – Le Temps Pluriel, two double issues of which were published in Paris in 1983. The editors conceived the magazine as a coherent whole composed of diverse elements engaged in dialogue. The bilingual quarterly was intended as a platform for exchange between literary and artistic works, Polish and foreign writers, and émigré and domestic authors. In this form, the magazine became a visible manifestation of artistic intensity at a time when independent periodicals focused mainly on politically engaged journalism. The article draws on editors’ declarations and selected contemporary critical responses preserved in the Wieloczas Archive.
