The journal has been published since 1980, originally as "Kieleckie Studia Filologiczne", since 2002 as "Studia Filologiczne".

Subsequent volumes contain articles in the discipline of literary studies, philosophy of literature, rhetoric, cultural studies, and linguistics.

The editorial office publishes original scientific articles and reviews of Polish and foreign researchers free of charge. Texts in congress languages are accepted.
