Summary

Mem is derived from the theory Richard Dawkins. After, this concept starts evolving and changes, widen your meaning. Example for this phenomenon is Internet memes. In this days memes become more popular. Internet memes have a lot of various functions: kind of comment about current events, entertainment, joke. Important issue is that authors of Internet memes use intertextuality – kind of game with recipient and culture texts. Establish intertextualisty text – text, text – type and text – reality, we can see in Internet memes about politics. In this memes authors in original way reacting to current events form politics, combining culture texts, using variety language and visual mechanisms and they receive surprise effect, which give emotions recipient Internet memes.
