The article devoted to the doubts of the lyrical subject regarding divine verdicts in the poetry of Maria Konopnicka is an attempt to show the fight of the heroes of the poetic creativity of the author of Our Scap with God and his decisions. Konopnicka’s heroes undertake an extraordinary effort to change the decisions made by the deity, entering into a discussion with the Creator, which may end in their condemnation.
