The aim of this article is to analyze the statements of Polish emigrants and their descendants who settled permanently in the Argentinean province of Misiones in the 1930s. The material is based on recordings collected by the KARTA Center and the History Meeting House as part of the Oral History Archive and interviews conducted by the author with representatives of the Argentinean Polish community in August 2019. The considerations attempted to answer the questions of what thematic circles are present in the analyzed memoirs, whether on their basis it is possible to reconstruct a picture of the emigration experience common to all settlers and to define the world of values professed by them. The concept of the linguistic image of the world was used, which allowed for an in-depth characterization of the Polish community.
